Covid-19

Dear guests,

Since mid april 2022 most Covid restrictions have been revoked.

Face masks still have to be worn in public transport, all medical institutions, pharmacies etc.

Useful information

Reception is open every day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. This may vary depending on arrival times. We are happy to help you with anything you may need, including renting a car or arranging for an excursion.

Outside the reception we have installed an emergency telephone. Please use this telephone if you need to reach the receptionist (for emergencies) out of opening hours.

The apartments are cleaned three times a week. The towels are changed three times a week and the sheets once. Please remember that we do not do your washing up. If you occasionally need an extra  towel, just tell the reception desk and we will provide you with it immediately.

The cleaning staff may be very busy on occasions due to departures, in which case your apartment will be cleaned a little later than normal. Thank you for your understanding.

If you need a hairdryer, please ask the chambermaid to lend you one.

We have installed key cards for your safety and convenience. Make sure you take both cards with you whenever you leave the apartment.

We are not immune to theft. In order to protect our apartments, there is a bolt on the balcony/terrace door frame to keep the door slightly open. Do completely close the door when leaving your apartment.

There is a safety deposit box in all of our apartments to keep your valuables in at economic rental prices.

A laundry room with washing machine and dryer is located on the ground floor at the end of the corridor (by apt # 101). The key to the laundry room as well as washing powder are available at reception for a small fee.

The complex has free wifi coverage in open spaces. Ask at reception for the password.

Please use this service only for checking e-mails and surfing the web. To be able to provide this service to all guests equally please avoid video conferences and downloading heavy data or programs.

At the lobby on the ground floor you can find a little book and magazine exchange.

At the end of this page there is a list of the different TV-and radio channels that can be seen/listened on your TV. The list is an orientation and may not have the same order. Due to bad weather or changes in the satellite frequencies there might be occasional malfunctioning of some channels. Thank you for your understanding when this happens, only very rarely.

If anything is faulty in your apartment, please contact reception and our maintenance staff will take care of the problem as soon as possible.

The gym (equipped with Technogym machines) is located on the ground floor on the way to reception (next to apt # 115).

If you want to use the gym please ask at reception. After signing the rules & safety form you will receive an access card.

The gym may be used from 09:00 to 19:00 and is free of charge.

We offer massage service. For appointments and rates please ask at reception.

Pursuant to Spanish legislation, smoking is not permitted inside the apartments. There will be a 100 Euro cleaning charge when smoking in the apartment. If you wish to smoke, please do so on the balcony or terrace (with the door closed, to prevent smoke getting into the room) or in other open areas of the complex and always respecting the neighbours.

For safety reasons do not use the pool before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m.

It is not allowed to book loungers with towels early in the morning and then spend the day on the beach without using them. Later risers will also want to sunbathe by the pool, without finding booked but empty loungers.

Please do not take pillows or towels from the complex to the beach or pool. They do not last as long and we would like to keep them in the same condition as you would like to find them if you come again.

Please use soft shoes inside the apartments, as tile floors transmit the noise of heels, etc.

Please do not feed stray dogs or cats or pigeons inside the complex. These animals are not vaccinated and could transmit disease. Also, they usually stay in the complex if a guest feeds them. Our next guests may not be animal lovers.

If you detect a fire:

  • Please activate the nearest alarm button in the corridor

If you hear the fire alarm or some-one giving the alarm

  • Stay calm.
  • Leave the apartment immediately (without luggage) and proceed to the nearest exit. The meeting point is in front of the main entrance (near the reception). Collaborate with the staff during evacuation.
  • When leaving the apartment please close the doors and windows, and also close all doors that you pass through to the exit.
  • DON’T run or scream, as this will contribute to a state of panic.
  • If you have to pass through smoke please walk bent down or crawl, to avoid inhaling the least smoke possible.

We hope you enjoy your stay and that the sun shines throughout. If it does rain (it rains five days a year on average to the south of Gran Canaria), don’t be disappointed and take the opportunity to visit one of the island’s many attractions.

Outside Reception (complex Nara) there is a telephone that by lifting up the handle directly dials the receptionist. Please use this telephone if you need to reach our Receptionist out of opening hours (for example if there are problems with the keycard).
