Our complex

Apartamentos Dunasol is located in one of the quietest parts of Playa del Inglés, just behind the Costa Canaria promenade, about 100 meters from the beach.

Our complex, which shares the reception with the adjacent complex Nara, consists of 47 apartments with a max. occupancy of 3 persons. All apartments have views of the large tropical garden or the swimming pool (heated in winter) with its large solarium equipped with sunshades and loungers.

We offer free Wi-Fi access in the open areas of the complex. We also offer information of the island, cycling routes, books etc. as well as a small gym (Technogym machines), a secured bike storage room for free use and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer (with charge).

Our apartments

Each apartment has a bedroom with two joined beds that can be separated under request, bathroom with shower, lounge with a sofabed (= bed for the 3rd person/child) and television (international channels), and an open kitchen (fridge, vitro ceramic stove, electric coffee maker, toaster and microwave).

The apartments are cleaned and the towels are changed 3 times a week. Bed linen is changed once a week. Guest services provided in the apartment with charge are telephone, safety deposit box and bottled water.

All apartments are equipped with air conditioning/heating (free of charge).

Bike & Sports

We value sports

Thanks to a spring-like climate all year around, with very pleasant temperatures and making the most of the layout of Gran Canaria, both racing cyclists and mountain bikers can train and enjoy all kinds of routes with different degrees of difficulty at any time of year. The main cycling routes are within easy access from the complex giving you the opportunity to combine suitable accommodation, thorough training on roads and trails and relaxing by the pool or on the beach.

For group bookings of more than 8 people we offer half-board or only dinner service in a nearby hotel.

Dunasol is member of Gran Canaria Tri Bike & Run, association that promotes the island as a destination for triathlon, cycling and running.

Sports facilities

We offer the following facilities and services, especially designed for cyclists and other sport lovers:

  • Comfortable hall with Wi-Fi connection, maps, general information and information about the islands’ routes.
  • Secured Bike storage room.
  • Bike wash station (self-service).
  • Technogym Gym: treadmill, spinning bike, recline exercise bike, cross trainer, multitrainer (Unica), ercolina, free weight and stretching area.
  • Massage service (booking required).
  • A few minutes’ walk away you find Free Motion, the leading bike centre in Gran Canaria where you can rent the latest generation Cannondale bikes (race, MTB, trekking, etc) and/or arrange for guided trips and routes.

The best climate of the world

Playa del Ingles has spring-like temperatures, from 18-25ºC, all year around, which makes it one of the best climates of the world and ideal for escaping from the cold in Europe in winter and the heat on the mainland in summer.

Apartamentos Dunasol are located in a central, but quiet, area of Playa del Inglés, just a 100 metres from the marvellous Playa del Inglés, with the golden sand and dunes that it shares with Maspalomas beach. The two of them together total 3 and a half kilometres of beach.

Nearby leisure facilities

Nearby you will find three shopping centres, Cita, La Sandi­a and Yumbo, which not only house a large variety of retail outlets but also leisure opportunities such as minigolf, restaurants, bars, discos, etc.

In the vicinity of Dunasol you will also find doctors and pharmacies, car rental services, trip booking agencies, bus stops and taxi ranks and a tourist information centre.

Remember that Gran Canaria is more than just a beach. A visit to the capital, a trip inland or a visit to its most traditional villages in the north are interesting alternatives for everyone who would like to learn about the island from different perspectives: cultural, historical, gastronomical, or hiking the royal paths.

How to get here

By public transport

By bus: The 66 bus departs every hour from the airport (daytime) and takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Cita Shopping Centre (tell the driver).

By taxi: There is a taxi rank just outside the airport. It takes about 20 minutes and costs around 40 euros. This is the easiest and fastest way to reach the complex.

By car

When you leave the airport, drive south along the GC-1 motorway and take exit 46 to Maspalomas. Drive straight ahead following signs to Maspalomas and El Inglés, until you reach a roundabout. From there the easiest way is to follow the map above.

We also offer a transfer service with a sedan car for a similar price as a taxi. The driver will wait for you in the arrivals’ hall at the airport and take you directly to Dunasol. You can order the service by e-mail at least 48 hours prior arrival indicating us the flight number and estimated time of arrival.
